Dear Saguaro Creek Families, 

I’m Kate Robold, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Saguaro Creek. As a Tucson native, a proud mom of two boys, and happily married to my middle school sweetheart (yes, you read that right!), I’m deeply connected to our community. I’m also a proud Arizona Wildcat. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

My career in education spans over 15 years in Vail, where I’ve had the privilege of working in many roles— 5th grade teacher, Student Achievement Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. This is my 9th year as Principal, and prior to leading Saguaro Creek, I spent 8 years as the Principal of Ocotillo Ridge Elementary. During that time, our school earned the A+ Award of Excellence from the Arizona Education Foundation, and we were consistently ranked in the top 10 schools in Arizona by the Arizona Department of Education, even earning the #1 ranking K-8 public school in the state.

At Saguaro Creek, I’m committed to fostering a healthy and positive culture with high expectations for both staff and students. I believe in the power of relationships and that everything we do must be centered around our students' success. We are proud to offer a well-rounded program that includes Advanced Math, Gifted and Advanced Learning, Inclusion, Art, Music, PE, Band (for 6th-8th), after-school clubs, and athletics (for 6th-8th). Our goal is to make Saguaro Creek a place where students are excited to come every day.
