PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Sports Medicine is a great pathway for any student looking to explore or go into the medical field. They learn about a broad spectrum of anatomy, injuries, and rehabilitation. This class also has a third year internship where the students get to work with the athletic teams on campus and apply their knowledge that they have learned in the classroom.Sports Medicine is a multifaceted study of healthcare professions under the sports medicine umbrella. Although the focus is on athletic related injuries, this is a perfect class to take for any student that is interested in any aspect of healthcare in the future. Sports Med takes a hands-on, real-life learning style that all students can readily use at any time.

Students will work after school during "Sports Med hours" in which they will help in evaluation, treatment, management, and rehab of athletic related injuries.
