PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Engineering explores the design process, applying math, science, and engineering standards to hands-on projects. They work both individually and in teams to design solutions to a variety of problems using 3-D modeling software, and use an engineering notebook to document their work. Through problems that engage and challenge, students explore a broad range of engineering topics, including mechanisms, the strength of structures and materials, and automation. Students get an in depth look into the different engineering disciplines and prepare for a job in an engineering related career or for post secondary education in engineering

DUAL ENROLLMENT
*Dual Credit:Engineering 102 HS- 3 Units/ Dual Credit
Engineering 102HS is is a three unit, dual credit, UA course for high school students who want to learn more about engineering. The ENGR 102 HS credit is transferable to all Arizona public institutions, as well as to most of those out of state. Students who sign up pay significantly reduced tuition. High school juniors and seniors who are taking precalculus or above may enroll.
