PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program develops student’s understanding of engineering problem solving and design practices. Students dig deep into the engineering design process, applying math, science, and engineering standards to complete hands-on projects. Projects include: Building Puzzle Cubes, Programming Autonomous Robots, Building Bridges, Building Solar Ovens, Programming Robotic Arms, Manufacturing Wood & Metal Projects using CNC Equipment, Programming Arduino Electrical Circuits, and 3D Printing functional parts.

WORK BASED LEARNING

Students gain skills in 3D Solid Modeling Software (CAD), Coding, Robotics, and 3D Printing. Students have the opportunity to participate in Racing the Sun, Vex Robotics Club, building a model telescope, and a school based enterprise.
